Understanding you comes first
At Stellvida, we understand that neurodivergence is about much more than attention, learning or behaviour. It can affect confidence, emotions, relationships, school, work, family life and even the way a person sees themselves.
Sometimes it can look like procrastination, forgetfulness, overwhelm, emotional outbursts, difficulty getting started, struggling with routines, or knowing exactly what needs to be done but still finding it hard to do it. For families, this can mean repeated arguments, frustration and worry; especially when everyone is trying their best but nothing seems to be working.
That’s why at Stellvida, we start with the person, not the label.
We take time to understand what is happening beneath the behaviour, the challenges, strengths, needs and experiences of each person. Then we work alongside neurodivergent young people, adults and families to find practical strategies that fit their real lives.
Our goal is not to change people into someone they are not. It is to help them understand themselves better, build confidence, develop strategies that work for their brain, and move forward with greater clarity and support.
Helping people to understand themselves, build confidence and move forward
At Stellvida, our mission is to help neurodivergent young people and adults better understand themselves, their strengths, needs, challenges and the things that help them thrive.
We provide practical, person-centred support for the everyday challenges that can come with neurodivergence, including confidence, emotions, communication, relationships, learning, organisation, independence and navigating school, work and daily life.
We also support parents and families, because when one person is struggling, it can affect the whole family. We help families understand what may be happening beneath the behaviour, reduce frustration and develop practical ways of supporting one another.
Our aim is to replace confusion with understanding, frustration with practical support, and “What is wrong with me?” with “What works for me?”
Ultimately, we want the people and families we support to feel understood, valued and better equipped to move forward without asking them to become someone they are not.

Why I Created Stellvida
Stellvida grew from something deeply personal to me: the belief that people need to be understood, not judged. Behind every behaviour, struggle or difficulty is a person with their own experiences, strengths, needs and story. When we take the time to understand what is really going on, we are better able to offer the kind of support that genuinely helps.
My Story
My work today brings together different parts of my life. I am a mother, an Optometrist, educator, advocate and a coach. Long before Stellvida had a name, I was already learning how important it is to look beyond what we see on the surface and try to understand the person underneath.
As a mother raising a child with additional needs, I know first-hand what it is like to raise and advocate for a child in a world that does not always understand them.
I know there can be many questions and uncertainties along the way. There are decisions to make, things you have to learn and times when you have to speak up for your child. Through all of these, I have learnt how important it is to look beyond a diagnosis or difficulty and see the whole child. Their personality, what they enjoy, what they find difficult, what they are good at and what they need from the people around them all matter.
Being a parent has influenced the way I see people and the way I work, but it is not the only experience I bring to Stellvida.
For many years, I have worked with children, young people and families through education, special educational needs, mentoring and support. I also work with young people in Alternative Provision, including those for whom mainstream education has not worked well.
Working closely with young people has taught me to look beyond behaviour and ask what might really be going on.
A young person who appears unmotivated may actually be overwhelmed and unsure where to begin.
A teenager who keeps saying "I don't know" may genuinely be struggling to understand or explain what they are feeling.
What looks like procrastination may be someone who wants to get started but cannot work out how to begin.
somethings a child described as "difficult" is trying to communicate something that the adults around them have not yet understood.
I have seen how easily capable young people can become known mainly for what they struggle with. Their strengths, ideas, personality and abilities can get pushed into the background. When that happens often enough, some young people begin to see themselves through those difficulties too.
I have also seen parents who deeply love their children but are tired from trying different things and wondering why nothing seems to work. Sometimes they are dealing with behaviour they do not understand. Sometimes they are simply trying to work out how to help their child without every conversation turning into frustration or conflict.
I have worked with adults who know they are capable too, but still find some everyday things much harder than other people seem to realise. Starting a task, organising themselves, managing overwhelm, staying focused or following something through can take far more effort than it appears from the outside.
All of these experiences are part of why I created Stellvida.
I wanted to create support that begins with understanding the person in front of us. For me, that means not making assumptions or quickly describing someone as lazy, defiant or unwilling to try. I would rather understand what is making something difficult for them and what might help.
I also do not expect the same approach to work for everyone, because people are different. What helps one teenager, parent or adult may not help another.
I want people to have the space to understand themselves better. I want them to recognise what they are good at, understand what gets in their way and work out what kind of support helps them. From there, we can look at what they want to change and find realistic ways of doing things that work better for them.
This is also how I approach coaching. I do not believe my role is to sit across from someone and tell them how to live their life. I listen carefully. I ask questions and give people room to think. We look together at what is happening, what is making things difficult and what they would like to be different.
From there, I support them to find approaches that make sense for their own life. The aim is not to make someone fit another person's idea of how they should function. It is to help them understand themselves and find ways of moving forward that they can actually use in everyday life.
That is the heart behind Stellvida.
What Shapes My Work
My work comes from lived experience, years of working with children and families, professional training and continued learning.
Lived Experience
Being a mother and an advocate has taught me things that training alone could never teach me. I understand some of the realities families experience behind closed doors. I know there can be questions, difficult decisions, advocacy, learning and plenty of adjustment along the way. It has also taught me the importance of continuing to see the whole child, especially when other people may only see their difficulties.
Education & SEND
I have years of experience working with children and young people across education and special educational needs. I also support young people in Alternative Provision. This work requires me to build trust, look beyond behaviour and understand what may be making learning, communication or everyday life difficult for an individual young person.
Coaching & Professional Training
Alongside my experience in education and special needs, I have trained in ADHD and neurodiversity coaching, a Certified Teens Coach and a qualified Optometrist. My wider background and training include special needs education, psychology and mentoring. I continue to learn because I want the support I offer to be informed, thoughtful and useful in people's everyday lives.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief. When we understand the person, not just the behaviour or the difficulty, we are in a much better position to give them support that actually makes sense for them.
Clarity. Confidence. Growth.
What Our Clients Say
We cherish the connections we build, and our clients share their stories!
"I have tried planners, reminders and different routines, but still felt overwhelmed. Coaching helped me understand what was getting in the way and find a way of planning that actually works for me. I feel calmer and more confident about managing my days"
"Getting an ADHD diagnosis later in life brought up a lot of emotions. Coaching helped me look at my experience differently and recognised strengths I had overlooked. I'm understanding myself better and being much kinder to myself."
I used to think I was simply lazy or lacked discipline. My coaching session helped me understand that starting is actually where I struggle most. I now feel less frustrated with myself and more confident about finding strategies that work for me"
Our Core Values
The principles that shape how we listen, support and grow alongside you.
Empathy
We take time to understand your experience without judgement. You don't need to have everything figured out at once. We create space for honest conversations about what is working, what isn't, and what feels difficult.
Clarity
When life feels tangled, clarity creates room to move forward. Through thoughtful questions and honest reflection, we help you understand what is happening, recognise what matters and discover what could work for you.
Growth
Growth isn't about becoming someone you're not. It's about recognising the strengths you already have, exploring what you want to change and finding your own way forward, one realistic step at a time.
You don't have to figure it all out alone.
Whether you're navigating ADHD or neurodivergence yourself, supporting your teenager, or trying to understand what your family needs, Stellvida is a space for clarity, understanding and practical support.
Practical support. Real understanding. No judgement.
